The bite is still pretty good for those who venture out, water temps is 46-47 fish are hitting both shad and skick baits, #7 bent lip Rapala’s and HJ #10’s and 12’s switch up often, or have a good mix out all the time and key in on hot bait bite windows. 1.4-1.8 mph, over weed tops troll even slower 1.4-1.0…yes, they will hit a crank at 1.0. Fish are fattening up right now, find the bait and the fish are not far behind. For the most part to can have the areas to yourself asmost people have put the boats away for the season, time to cash in on the good bite guys…might be the last one before the ice comes, good luck…Oh, as for the Skinny fish? take a look at the pix, I wouldn’t call them skinny or fat but normal…maybe a few on the fatter side.

We had a good night Saturday as well. Every fish we caught had that fat fall belly on it.
    Good stuff!
