    mille lacs county has removed the bouy’s from all the reefs and channels. just remember that the lake level has dropped so reef tops could take out a lower unit if you are not paying attention

    Thanks for the reminder. I had the trolling motor down last week as I putzed around casting for bass and walleyes, and there were a few unmarked reefs that definitely would’ve caused someone a bit of a headache.

    Big point/ Hawkbill area.
    There are generally some that will start popping up around the Sherman Point area as well about this time. These are not DNR survey nets.

    I didn’t see any nets by big point this weekend. Maybe they caught all the walleyes and pulled their nets, and that’s why the bite was lousey by big point.
