Full moon, clear skies

I’ll be at appledoorns this weekend with the fiance. We’re getting married there next May and want to check it out. I’ve never fished the fall trolling bite but have fished the lake enough to have a pretty decent idea of what going on. Question is, under a full moon on a clear calm night, Do the fish tend be deeper than normal? Or do you still fish real shallow and try to be more stealth about it?

    Yes

You have to go do it and see what the fish want.

My starting point for dealing with calm lake conditions, clear skies and a bright moon starts with running slightly smaller baits and more line to get the lure out away from the boat. For example, #10 Husky Jerks work great under calm/clear conditions when I would normally fish #12 or even #14 HJ’s.
