Tribal netting?

    Anyone aware of any DNR sample netting happening now? I noticed a set yesterday morning off of Big Point. They are still there now. Not sure whose they are but I would be surprised if the DNR set them.
    They should have fun in the wind trying to retrieve them.

    what color are the jugs??? most all dnr jugs are yellow or orange. did you look for a name on them??? they have to be marked with a name also, even the native nets

    This is the week they (the Mn. DNR) usually do the survey netting.

    i did see them in cove bay and down by garrison. they are mndnr nets

    Agreed, I saw 2 or 3 different DNR boats out on the 19th launching out the West and Northwest side. One in the water was just South of Banana reef and launched out of Garrison.

    Our IA DNR will only put out their nets a few hours before pulling them in. I wonder why they would be netting now and not in the spring?
