I have seen a large number of lake shiners in my boat harbor this past week. Many that are small 2 inches in size on up to some big guys around 4-6 inches!!!!! The creeks are full of them right now also, many of the minnow guys are netting up their supplies now. Its a busy time for guy’s in the bait business.
I think if I recall correctly……we did’nt have many lake shiners last spring? I’ll have to check into that thought……
