Looking to headup Sunday morning, haven’t been on Mills lacs this time of year before, not sure how to go about fishing the lake, I do not think leadcore is a real option at this point, what should I focus my attention on? For walleye.
Well…. It looks like we’re going to probably focus on slip bobbering, and a little Lindy rigging.

Leadcore will still work, but look to others on this site with more knowledge and experience than I possess to give you better advice on that. The bobber bite has been OK if you’re willing to muddle through lots of dinks. Good luck and let us know how you do.
We got our butt kicked, we didn’t boat a single eye, We rigged a bunch of structure, we slip bobbered a bunch of areas, and we casted a lot of shallow areas that were holding some eyes, but we were not able to boat a fish. Our buddy caught a few, but no keepers. It was beautiful out on the water and still enjoyed the day off. 
Fished the eastern shore from about 7am till about 1pm Sunday. Caught one keeper and had about 6-8 fish on but they spit hook on the way to the boat. Pulling leadcore and planer boards. Fish were all over the map as for color or style of crank. Had most action before lake went calm. Was a beautiful day but weather/wind sucked for fishing walleyes much after 11am.
Yeah it was really nice on the water, just not the greatest conditions for catching.

Heading up Saturday morning. I wonder what the cold front is going to have as an affect for the comming week? (It’s hitting us right now Wednesday evenging)
