I was on the lake for the last 4 days but did not get any fishing in. I got the new boat rigged and got it on the water saturday. I got to run it for about 20 minutes in Isle Bay and then lost my gas pressure from a major fuel leak from a dealer installed water/fuel seperater filter. I was lucky a fire didnt start. So back to the dealer it goes. I did talk to some guys at the access that said the perch and crappie fishing was slow. There are a few crappies biting in the shallows but the water is still too cold. I did notice large schools of tiny perch in the shallows and the pike were chasing them. A drive around the lake showed lots of natives and lots of nets. I saw one boat and truck combo that easily went $60,000. They are really modifing thier boats for netting.
