Has anybody stayed here? This looks like about the most kid friendly place I can find on ML. And secondly how does their valet launch thing work? Can you leave your boat in the water? Or does it need to come out nightly? And what kind of hours are they willing to launch your boat for you? Thanks for any info
They pull you out with tractors. The water is too shallow for boat launching. The cabins are some of the best on the lake.
I’ve stayed there and the cabins by the lake are nice. You can leave your boat in at night (at your own risk). Give them a call and I’m guessing they will work with you in regard to when you can/can’t launch.
Other resorts that you may want to check out is Red Door and Fishers.
Nice place. Was just up there last week. Unfortunately we had 8 inches of rain and wind. You only leave your boat on the dock at night if they say you can. They put a sign in the office window saying wether or not you can leave it in. I spoke with another guy up there that said he had a little run in after 8:00pm to get his boat pulled out. Not sure when they start in the morning Iknow there office hours are 7am-8pm. The cabins are very clean and the grounds are nicely kept. They are still working around the grounds laying sod and such. Very nice beach and stays shallow for a long way out To me a very nice place. Hope this helps
Everyone has pretty much covered it. Nicest kid friendly resort on the lake. Paul and his crew will stop at nothing to make sure your stay is perfect. My boat gets tied off bow pointed out when we stay and the all clear is given. The valet boat launching is the best thing going, kids really get a kick out of the tractor in the water. The upgrades and the remodeling are amazing. You won’t be disappointed with this choice.
The nicest cabins I’ve stayed in. Paul and his staff and amazing at taking care of their guests. The valet launch is killer. When we were there we were able to dock at night, make sure your bow is pointing out towards the lake. You won’t be sorry if this is the resort you choose.
