Will the recent rain affect the bite that’s been going on lately? Anything under water? I was planning on getting up there tomorrow with the wife out of the west side to try and be sheltered from the wind some, just don’t want to make the drive if things are going to be messed up. I know the river is sure a mess around here right now, looks more like chocolate soup and made for some very tough fishing today. Thanks for the input.

I’m sure you can catch more walleyes at home , not, go fishing. I wish I had the day off to go. I dont think it will affect the bite much at all. With the run off dont be afraid to fish the shore line breaks or shallower water. Go beat up on them 20″+ walleyes.

We are doing the same, leaving town early afternoon today and hope to be on Mille Lacs by 6:00am tomorrow hopefully the wind doesn’t kill the fun, I can take the rain but lightning or wind which looks like it could gust to 35 around noon to 2:00pm Saturday if that happens we’ll hit plan B and go to a smaller lake close by.
