Some co-workers and I are looking to go do some overnight fishing on Mille Lacs. My co-worker heard there are places that will take groups out overnight to fish. What places on Mille Lacs offer this service?

You want a Launch they are about 4-5 hours long and run about $35 a person or you can rent the whole boat starting at $500

As mbenson and crappie mentioned the resorts that run large launches will take you out at night, usually four hour trips with a set time.

By the way you worded your question though it sounds like you may be looking at more of a flexible guided trip than just a launch outing. If that is the case I’m not sure about the other resorts, but I do know that both of the resorts who I am very familiar with also have smaller launches that can provide more of a guide like experience with flexible times. Even if you’ve only got a half dozen guys you get a boat to yourselves for much less than than the $500.

Will at Barnaveld’s has a small 12 person launch and knowing Will I’m sure he’d take you out all day/night if you wanted.

Also if you want even more of a guide experience but with up to 6 people Fishers has a Sportcraft similar to the type of charters on LOTW which is capable of things like fishing leadcore or open basin trolling that typically you couldn’t do with a launch.

No matter what the pond is hot right now so you should have a blast
