Just looking for some info on good place’s to stay up on the east or northeast side. Only place i have stayed is Nittis hunters point. I already reserved an ice shack there for 60 an night….but they are having a tournament out of there and i just don’t know if i wanna deal with all the people. Heard the bites been awesome up there. Thanks in advance.

    I’ve heard Appeldorn’s is a nice place.

Agate bay has his fish houses for 50 a night plus 10 bucks for launching.

If you’re looking for a great resort experience on the NE shores of Mille Lacs, Fisher’s is the way to go

From my experience. Fishers, Red Door, Nitties, and Appledorns have been very positive.

All have good reports, but is it still true that at Appledorns, you have to have the tractor launch you because it’s so shallow ? Or did all the rain help that out ?

Appledorns does not have a boat ramp. All boats need to be put in/ taken out with the tractor. Been that way since the old Karpen days.

We at The Red Door would greatly appreciate the opportunity to host your Lake Mille Lacs venture!

Although the reservation book is filled pretty good, be sure to call and check as we do get a cancelation here and there. Our motel rooms are the same cost as the fish house price you speak about here. And our room rate includes boat ramp passes.
