    Trolled Chrome colored #7 flicker shad and Chrome #8 rapala jointed shad rap. 2mph in 8-12 fow on a rock/sand transition. 2am-3:30am Boated 13 and boxed 8. Almost home and time for some sleep! Good luck guys!

    Trolled #4 and #5 flicker shads pearl white, and shad rap #5 pearl 1.3 MPH 6-8ft 32 eyes, smallest 13″ largest 27.5″

    Were you on the Big pond or on the river? I hit Lake Pepin today and had those numbers in 7 to 10 feet as well. Good for you trying those depths. Not may fisherman have the guts to hang in that depth on opener. Just wondering and making sure you were on Mille Lacs. Heading up in a few days. Did you have planner boards on? What was the best color.Thanks for the help.

    I was on Mille Lacs. No planer boards. Pearl white is what worked for us in a flicker shad, and a shad rap. #4,#5
