Heading up to the pond this weekend with some family. Probably going out of the red door. Only can fish for 12 hours or so. I was wondering if it is better to go out Saturday evening and fish overnight or come up early Sunday and fish through the day until the evening? Has there been a decent night bite or would i be wasting my time fishing all night? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The night bite has been the best time. Last weekend we only caught fish after 7. I would opt for the staying over saturday night if at all possible.

I’d do the all day Sunday trip. You’ll hardly catch any perch after dark and only a hand full of eyes pick a shallow spot Sunday morning then move a little deeper mid morning for the perch.
