    went out fishing for the weekend with a few friends from the metro. did ok around TOWN but decided2 head up 2 tha pond with a fellow ido member matt. fished from 7am-8pm…the bite was best in the morning in17ft. we missed a bunch of bigger fish 1 at the hole and iced some nice keepers. the bite slowed all day after 9am but we picked up some perch and pike with a few short eyes. then at about 6pm matt got a monster 27incher! i think we coulda stretched it a bit more but we’ll just say 27 and got a good pic and tossed her back quick! cold day out but hole hoppin was the trick as that’s how matt smoked me in the FISH category. o well still fun
