We will take a hard look at things early Friday and go from there. It is
too early to know what the cold will do for us. We need about another inch
of ice and no major cracks that can’t be bridged safely. The cold snap will make it contract and form a
wide crack somewhere, no doubt. So, we are on hold. Will it get cold for
long enough without wind? We’re hopin’! Keep in touch with the office. We
should know by 8 am Friday morning what things look like for pulling lighter
houses this coming weekend–or not. For sure, we will err on the side of safety and common sense.

Thanks for the update!

If the weatheman is right, odds are we will start pulling some houses out this coming Friday and weekend. Time will tell for now, though.

With that, we have unique issues many will want to address.

1. There, most likely, will be little or no banking snow available. Plan accordingly!

2. With the mudflats and typical Knox Point areas off limits for now, we will be spotting all the houses to the east along shoreline areas. If you have a depth preference, let us know now and we will do what we can! Depth ranges will be from 15 to 30ft. From straight out of the access to east a mile or so. So, call the office to let us note your preference or we will spot the house(if it fits the ice thickness safety levels we have now), where we think best.
