In case you missed Steve Fellegy’s link in the C.A.S.S.Today post pinned to the top of this forum. A must read blog in todays on line edition of the Strib:

    http://www.startribune.com/sports/outdoors/blogs/134784838.html?uccb=1322752778106&cr=1

Make sure to log into the Strib site and leave Steve some encouraging words in contrast to the liberal weenies who support the tribes.

Also, make sure to take the time and view the video Steve links to. Political BS lying in full swing right there!

    Good post Jon.

I read it last night and never thought of leaving a comment. Then again there weren’t any at that time.

When I started reading his blog I thought “WOW! Steve, over the top! But as I read more and checked out the video, it deserves nothing less then “action NOW!”

    …and a few bucks donated.

I agree with the message but I disagree with the way Steve delivered it.

Time for the Govenor to step up.

I don’t think Steve is going to make any progress with attempting to bully a Gov. into action. A liberal Gov does not really care about the sportmans agenda. I wish that was not the case but I bet there are $100,000’s of contributions from the feathers.

I agree with his message – I just think he could use a little PR professionalism in the style/content.

No doubt, the tone of the blog is “over the the top” and as some say, could be viewed as anything but “professional”. I apologize to anyone that is insulted and or embarrassed by my actions.

So, we’re 20 years into this issue…70 tons of Lake Mille Lacs walleyes a year earmarked for gill-nets later, all the while having the likes of PERM and everyone else pu$$y-footing around this. Well, I’ve had enough! The tone needs to be over the top, once and for all. Tell me the way things have been done for the past 20 years has worked…..and I’ll tone it down. Until then…help me or get out of my way.

Bobby Knight did nothing but win……like it or not. I like his style!

    DG,
your right, a liberal Gov doesn’t care about the sportsman BUT he is afraid of the bully. as steve said dancing around in the political arena on this gets nothing done, it’s time someone stood up and called a spade a spade(this is not a racist statement it referse to telling like it is) if steve wants to occupy the capital i’m in

Another case of a politician saying something they never intended to follow through on just to get elected … I’m shocked

Good luck and keep up the good fight Steve… I agree that the tone of the article is a little confrontational; however, maybe that is his intention understanding how frustrating this issue is and possibly he feels that is the best way to get people to pay attention.

Also, koudos to the Star Trib for giving Steve a forum to publish his opinion even though IMO the paper usually leans quite a bit left

So a Republican Governor agrees to the band netting. Then we have another Republican Governor who does nothing to change it. And somehow you think it is Mark Dayton’s fault?
