Short 11-12 report

Well after getting a hot tip from a fellow IDOer I called a buddy who still had his boat out and asked if he wanted to go to the pond. After the yes, I had to tell the better half that I was going one more time on the open water.

We arrived and fished the north end and with in 2 minutes of being in the water a nice 24″ came to the boat. We caught about five really nice fish in the first hour and then after dark the wind picked up and it was a little to much for boat control so we decided to make a move to St. Albins area.

After regrouping and getting in the water about 7, we struggled to put together a pattern until about 10 when we found almost all our fish over the weeds in 4-5 feet of water. We ended up the night catching about 20-25 fish with only three box fix. Most were in the 22-25″ range. All in all it was not a bad night but not as good as the Oct full moon.

    Nice work Jason!

20+ fish is a great night… Too bad the wind pushed you out of spot #1.

Hey Will thanks for the call. I wished we could have stayed up there longer but it just wasnt meant to be. It was still good.
