A friend of mine from Walleye Searchers and I fished west side of Mille Lacs last Friday & Saturday nights. Water temp was around 46-47 degrees and we fished both rock and weed areas. Fished hard until 4 AM in morning on Friday night and ended up with 12 walleyes and 3 pike. Biggest walleyes were a 25, 26 1/2, and a 27 with 7-8 FOW being the most productive depth. Only fished until midnight on Saturday. Bite was slower as we only scratched out 3 walleyes and 3 pike with our biggest walleye at 27. For 2 nights fishing we only caught 1 walleye on a shallow runner Shad Rap with all other walleyes coming on stick baits. A # 12 Husky Jerk in Fire Tiger color was crankbait for all of our larger eyes. Our best trolling speed was between 1.6 to 1.8. Good luck to anyone still heading up to Mille Lacs this Fall. I might have to head up there one more time myself!

Sounds like some nice fish, how big were the Pike?
Early Nov moon is getting bigger and bigger. Good times are ahead.

Most of the pike were of the smaller size but we did manage 1 larger one. Here are a couple of photos of the larger walleyes from our trip.
