Made a spur of the moment trip up to the pond last night with James. Water temp was about 55 degrees, which was a pleasant gretting. Slow trolling about 1.5-1.6 lots of S turns yeilded somewhere between 13-15 fish, biggest was 26.5″ all caught on stick baits. Weeds are still strong in some areas, and in others they are dying off nicely. Hopefully this stable weather will put more fish in the boat in this next coming week. Water temps are about perfect, and the fish that we did conect with were hitting with force. Should only get better. Fun night indeed.

What area of the lake were you on with those temps? We had 51.9 on the SW side last night.

Thanks for making the trip with me, Cal. I had a blast even if it did make for a long, blurry-eyed day on Friday.

Here’s the best pic of the night. Nice fish, buddy. Let’s do it again soon.
