    With the forecast below…..we might have some open water soon.

    Thursday
    Breezy. Partly sunny. Chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 66 to 71. Southeast winds 15 to 25 mph… becoming South. Chance of rain 50 percent.
    Thursday Night
    Mostly cloudy. Chance of showers and thunderstorms through the evening…then a slight chance of showers overnight. Lows 40 to 45. South winds 10 to 20 mph becoming west 5 to 15 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 40 percent.
    Friday
    Partly sunny. Highs 58 to 63. West winds 10 to 20 mph.

    The ice has shifted north with the south wind we had today. Each day the ice is getting darker in color!!!!!! Open water is not far off………

    This pic shows two eagles out on the ice, catching a little wind! They are the little black speck’s in the picture!!!!

    It doesn’t look like the eagles are having much fishing success. A little more water and you will be showing us pictures similar to last year. Brand new boats loaded to the max with walleyes. I really would like to see some pictures again, but hopefully they don’t come over your way. Lets hope that they have as much success as those eagles.

    I have a hose and filter that I put off the end of my dock. It than runs under ground over to the pump. It works great!!

    Yep and probably a check valve on the screen., lake systems were my favorite to install, they really kick butt. Best water for grass too.

    As of this morning we have open water out around 1/2 mile. We had a little rain last night and some strong wind gust’s out of the Northeast.
