I saw it, Nice work again!! Did you try any river rockers?
I only got 2 fish on them this weekend, everything else came on flicker shads.

Thanks T-bone! I did not get a chance to try river rockers yet. I’m thinking that perch colored one may work!

Another great report. Although I have been waiting to hear about your Leech lake trip. I have been trying your technique up there with no suchsess. How did you do up there? thanks

Leech Lake was great but it was a family vacation and I only spent 2 hours on fishing. The WX2100 got a good workout though and I ended up spending $250 on gas tubing 5 kids around the lake.

The first day of fishing, we get out to the big lake and it was very wind and pretty rough out there. We get all set up to do some open water trolling and my son’s buddy (Julien) caught a 23 inch walleye after about a half hour of trolling. I thought cool – we are going to get into them. 15 min later he was seasick and throwing up. So much for that day.

The next couple of days were even windier and there were some thunderstorms as well. So I fished a total of 2 hours and caught one walleye and a couple of northerns…
