mayfly hatch on mille lacs?

    could anyone let me know when the mayfly hatch happened on the big pond going up there this weekend just wonderin whats happenin up there

    There must have been a fish fly hatch or whatever its called over the weekend. (not a mayfly) Cause when I stopped in Garrison on Monday morning the Holiday Station was loaded with them!!

    That spinner crawler bite has been going for about 3 weeks now, and I would imagine it will continue to produce as we get into August. Be prepared to move around a lot, jumping from flat to flat has been the key to success for running spinners. Don’t forget the open water trolling gear or leadcore.
