More like run out by the State. I was in there having a burger the saturday before they closed and the place was almost empty.

The bartender said the the State Patrol and County Sheriff just about every night was pulling people over a mile from the place. Doesn’t take long for word to spread about that.

drove up there on the 4th and there were two trooper cars sitting in the ditches between Isle and Ann Lake. That has never been a good place to speed.

Both use old school radar that any detector will pick up rather than the lazer technology being used here in the metro. If you have a jammer that appears to work well up there too!

Had nothing to due with State or County pulling people over. The people running the place had a huge ballon payment due and couldnt come up with the dough. Rumor has it the place can be had for 200K. Drive by it every day. Seems like it pulls in quite a few people.

The bar right across the bay from them has been closed for a couple of years now to. Used to have some good burgers in there for a little hole in the wall.

That place has always been a fun bar… They served me my first “legal” drink back when you could drink at midnight of your 21st b-day and we stopped in for a power hour on my way back home to celebrate.

Last time I was there was probably the end of March and the gal at the bar said the place was for sale.

Not funny at all! The Isle police also use radar and are frequently tucked in just across from the old Ozzies. Don’t blow that speed drop to 45 in front of the Cenex!!!

I can pick them all up at least a mile out.

Yeah, I see the sneaky devil in the SUV and the car, sitting across from Ozzies all the time… They used to sit further up, by that church If there not in either of those spots, then right after the right onto 27, sitting across from the landing I can just picture you cruising up on a friday night and just playing a game… where is the next copper gonna be ?? I do it to

so if I’m pulling a boat, would the boat need a jammer too?

i was in boy scouts with the owner way back in the day. his family owned MY PLACE in NE minneapolis. it was a little 3.2 joint on broadway st accross from the mpls school board offices. he then had a place in lino lakes, i think he called it my other place on the lake. from there he opened mcbees. his mother taught him how to cook hamburgers. damn near got killed in a motorcycle wreck a few years back. if i know mike, he will open up a new joint somewhere, he is a party boy and owning the party place works for him.
