    I will be there Saturday morning until the wind blows me off. Putting in at Terry’s. Blue 620, pair of Yami’s on the back. Muskies for at least the first hour or so in the morning, then out for some eyes.

    What is going to be the IDO VHF channel?

    I’ll be working the mud flats.

    12′ camo canoe with 30# thrust trolling motor on the port side, a Cannon downrigger on the starboard side, orange collar-style lifejacket around my neck, and a one-eyed dog named “Tippy” in the bow. I’ll have a Zebco in one hand while bailing water with an empty PBR can with the other.

    Oh boy, I didn’t think you knew that there were fish in any part of the lake except The Rack and Lakeside. Guess you must be doing a lot of net watching ‘eh? Putz.

    here right now, got here on Wednesday, wish I had a report, but the drinks are too cold and spent the day yesterday pulling the kids around on tubes/skis. Tonight we will be just a bit south and east of Hennepin. The wind has been ESE for the past two days, blew hard Weds and Thurs.

    I will be following Tuck and Brad – having a boat parade out in the basin

    Headed up Saturday afternoon until later in the week – negotating with the wife when I need to come back home. As Jon said, if you see two yellow labs going nuts assume I have the treats out and am not fighting a fish

    Can’t wait and the forecast looks stable which should lead to lots of the fish and .

    Be up on Sunday coming out of the South East side in an older Lund Pro V with a couple of youngsters. Up for any techniques and will be monitoring 82. Happy 4th!!!

    I didn’t say I was going but I went anyway. I made it up sat and sun.

    Saturday was a little choppy and fished solo but managed only 3 fish betwen 20 and 26. I managed to miss at least 8-10 more after a solid hook set. I really couldn’t figure out why. I was rigging leeches with about a 5 foot snell and a #2 Gama octopus, brand new out of the package??? Oh well, didn’t miss many on Sunday.

    So today I took the soon to be FW out and promised her a PB and delivered.She got these 2 about 25″ and I got one about 27.5″. Overall we got about 15 fish before leaving at noon and even a few under 18″ but didn’t keep any.

    About half way thru the day I switched to a #2 or #4 Gama oct-circle hook with a leech and had some good success. I went 3 for 5 on the hook sets and got the biggest on the circle. Much better than yesterday.

    We caught all our fish on the very tip on one particular flat. Tried a few others with no luck.
