Were heading up to Leech next weekend. Wondering what worked and what didn’t. More methods and depths than spots. Thanks in advance. Also if its like last year where it was tough mid day.

we managed 4 eyes sat. and some big jumbo’s. Shiners seemed to work best on a green jig 10-14 fow, saw alot of fish being caught, some seem to be using spinner blades above the hook. Went with the old stand bye later in the day (lindy w/ a red bed and bronze hook and leech) got 2 right away in 14 fow. seemed every one we saw where using shiners not many leeches earlier. That was it for us, we kept changing up w/ no super results. my 2 cents something w/ a spinner blade above the hook

Wow, thats not what I wanted to hear…… We usually launch out of walker and head up from there. Anyone try the night bite?

I was on leech today, there was no wind and high sun. Didnt expect to catch much but caught over 30 in about four hours. Lots were small but a decent limit for 3 guys. We fished east of the walker narrows and jigs and shiners were the best bait.

A buddy and I caught a little over 20 eye’s Saturday/Sunday, didn’t catch anything Monday. Eight of those were keepers, and the largest for the weekend was 27″. All fish were caught on either 1/8oz green fireball jig with smaller shiners/fatheads (not the big ones) during the day, or #7 shad raps at dusk/dark. We jigged in 10-14′ and pulled cranks on the top edges of the breaks in 14-15′. Mid-day fishing picked up for us when the clouds rolled in Sunday afternoon.

Majority of our fish came from locations away from the crowd, but still near the general locations. We did decent on Stoney and near Otter. Didn’t see much on goose flats but didn’t stay there too long. Another boat in our group did decent up by big hardwood, and had a good evening just west of Pine point.
