Id tell you my thoughts but most of them are not suitable for here! The millions they make off the casinos isnt enough? You cant tell me all the netting that they do is for tradition. Just look at the pics of where they dumped the half cleaned and whole walleyes. I bet their ancestors are turning in their graves. These are decendents of people that use to harvest and use every part of an animal. If that was still the case I would let it go but, it still needs some regulation. Now I think they net just to urine off everyone against it. Im all for the state run casinos, The debate that people are going to gamble more is crap…..if their going to they are either going to give their money to something they will never get a return on or give it to the state. The whole damn problem with it is the huge political donations that the native gaming commision gives to the DFL. Very frustrating, I have a solution start dropping off trucks filled with booze at every reservation Id give it 6 months and everything will fall apart.

A little off topic, but keep in mind that on those rainy days when some of you go to the Casinos for lunch, or to pull a one-armed bandit for a while, what you really are doing is shooting yourselves in the foot. Indian Lawyers/Lobbyists are paid for with that money…just something to consider.

EXACTLY! It amazes me to see these places PACKED! My parents used to go. Pissed me off that they would spend money there for entertainment. It’s a cancer, but that is another topic….Anyway, stop going to the casinos! Invest in our own people and families. This thing is gonna get ugly. And you are right. The people that patronize these casinos are paying for the indians legal fees for YOU/ME to lose OUR rights. They gave it up a LONG time ago. Assimilate or hit the %&*dang road!

And pay taxes like the rest of us, and BUY a fishing license too!
