The guys I fish with for opener are thinking of trying Leech this year. It will be the first time on the lake for all of us, and not sure where to stay.
Anyone have suggestions as a place to stay opener weekend? We don’t need much more than a place to crash at night.

A couple decent places near good fishing are Grandview lodge or Acorn hill, there are also numerous hotels but with any lodging you should make your resevations asap!!

Try Sugar point resort on the NE end. We went there for 15 yrs until got my own place on Leech. Very remote and you located close to many great early season fishing spots, so if the wind kicks you don’t have to travel to far. Plus you are a long way from the casino so you won’t get tempted to lose your money
