Hit leech this morning lots of fog got to the house about 7am bite lasted till nine which is late but my last fish was a 24″ beauty. The other fish 14 to 16 Inches nice eaters only kept six two anglers and released others.

I have found a jig that is really putting fish on the ice the eye dropper by northland, blue on one side holo and glow white on the back hammered. Last night and this morning they would hammer this jig with a minnow hooked thru the tail. My house is putting out fish hope it doesnt burn out but Im with only one other friend.

    Nicely done!

One question, are you jigging this set up or are they hitting it on a dead stick?

Rob, I jig it when I see fish come in I lower it in the zone and let it sit then Ill twitch it a bit until I feel the tap. They hit it solid the last few weeks the bite has been lite you can tell a small fish they dont smack it like the bigger fish.

Walker Bay is deep, 150ft in spots fish 12ft to 16ft around second pt along the shore or up by sand point on the flats that come up off deeper water. Agency narrows holds perch as well as the Goose Island area. Walker narrows any spot that has some weeds hold those jumbo perch.
