Heading to Leech all next week for the first time. Should a guy start on Walker Bay humps or head to the main lake areas?

    Thanks,

    EJ

Wow, sounds like they are having a good start!! Thanks for the report. Humps in the bay or head out to the main lake? It should be fun finding the answer.

Another PM…..they said they were fishing in 26-30 feet of water…..didn’t say where….I was only assuming Walker bay. But the depth should give a good starting point. Good Luck and let us know how you do..

Fished Leech on Sunday night off of Stony Point in 15 FOW. (easy to see where the drop off is as there are 10 houses lined up on the edge. Also a nice road from the campground heading out there…) As if on key they started biting at 4:30pm and stopped at 6pm. 7 eyes’ caught. 4 shorty’s and 3 16″ for the pan. If on that side of the lake that would be a good evening bite spot …RR

    Rooster,

Sounds like a good bite. Did you get any perch? I’d like to find some jumbos during the day. I’ve only fished that area a couple times but never in the winter. I might head up next week.

    Thanks – Vern
