Hey Guys!
I get to make my first trip to the great white north this weekend and would like to know what the ice and fishing is like..
We are starting out on Leech but we are willing to move around..Winnie,Cass,ML etc, are all other options……
Any help? 
I’d stay on Leech if I was you. We were up there a couple weeks ago and the perch bite wasn’t fast and furious but in a day and half we iced around a 100 jumbos and 16 keeper walleye. The biggest perch was almost 14″. Even though walleye is closed you’ll more than likely tie into a few. Good Luck and look shallow
