Perch Bite

    I got out on Leech Lake around 4:00 pm Saturday and started catching small perch right away and then one 16″ walleye. Managed to pick up three 10″+ perch. I then caught and released a 22″ walleye right at dusk and then headed in for the night. Sunday morning the size of the perch were a little better…10-12″ in 10′ of water. Also caught a 5 and 7 lb. northers with minnows while fishing for the perch. Great to end the walleye and northern season with a plus.

    Nice perch! Thanks for the report. It is good to hear more and more coming from that lake after a couple quieter years.

    Nice fish. Looks like the kids had a blast too.
