With the below zero night we had last night, looks like the open water fishing may be coming to an end this year. Many of the bays on the smaller lakes are frozen over and the ice is slowly creeping out from shore further and futher. I hate to say this but I will be winterizing my boat for the year. 
This is truly a sad day, but if this cold weather continues we will have 1st ice in just a coulpe of weeks and hopefully be fishing some smaller lakes on or before Turkey Day.
