Put the boat in at Stoney Pt the wind was from the north west I headed to a point with the wind blowing in. I fished with a lindy rig and a 4ft snell in 8ft to 12ft slow trolling the break then moving out and drifting in managed to pick up a limit of eaters and thru back some small fish. Went thru all my leeches then caught fish on a jig and minnow 1/8oz lime. 3 to 4 inch minnow worked and the perch didnt bother me with a larger minnow.
Most fisherman are using shiners as the bait of choice and doing well I like to change it up and try different baits Leech then shiner Lindy then jig Im trying to confuse the fish
The bite was slower but if you worked it you can get fish morning was the best until the sun came out.
Fished another spot till 7pm the bite never started but they bit real good on the spot I fished in the morning, I heard after I left for a steak dinner The fish seem to be scattered yet but if the wind blows one way for a couple days the fish will be there water temp was 61 degrees still cold. Ill be out today trying a different pattern with a spinner rig slow trolling to cover some water.
Good Luck
