I landed one of the muskies (top picture) on a Black/White spinnerbait; it was 40 1/2 inches. I landed the other muskie (bottom picture) on a Black/Orange bucktail; it was 44 inches.

Both were caught during the weekend of July 25th in Portage Bay. Both were very unhappy to be hooked and made sure that I knew about it! – Holy cow did they fight awesome.

Great fish and awesome photos Dave!! I was up there this past weekend with a buddy. We hooked one that broke his line on the hookset – Bad time to find out the braided dacron was rotten. Had 3 more follow right to the boat but could not get them to bite. I actually had the first one turn 3 times on a figure 8 – but he would not take it. Even though we did not land one, it was very exciting seeing those monsters just appear and disappear by the side of the boat.
