Smallmouth in Leech?!!!

I was out fishing for walleyes in the shallow rocks on the south of the main lake this morning. I caught a 4 lb smallmouth using a jig and shiner. I thought it was the biggest rock bass I had ever seen but no. Anyone else ever catch a smallmouth on Leech. This is my first one. And with all the rusty craws out there it would be a great fish to have in numbers.
