Slot

    I had heard a while back that the DNR was talking about putting the same slot on Leech that Winnie has. Has anyone heard an update or when this would go in effect?

    I have heard a couple things but they are only hearsay. I have not hade a chance to confirm this, but plan to ask some key people. From what I have heard, in 2 years Leech will have the same slot that Winni currently has. I will post something when I find out some facts. I hope that this is not true. I am a very strong beliver and practicer in selective harvest, but I feel that there are some much better solutions to this problem, that would not have so many dead fish floating and rotting on the lake and would help the population even more.

    That is the talk right now, but at this stage it is still a proposal. 17″ and uber w/ one trophy starting 2004
