We are inches from Ice Fishing!!
Cooler weather has locked up many of the smaller lakes and ponds with ice in north central Minnesota. It appears that if the cold continues there will be some ice fishing available for anglers within a few days. Some people have already been out on the ice fishing here. Serious caution is advised as most lakes have very little ice. Keep an eye on the Leech Lake Guides website for ice updates.
Sort the tackle, clean out the fish house, start your auger. Were ice fishing soon!
