My brother John and I hit Broadwater Bay on Saturday. The action was slow most of the day, but got much better as the sun began to set. We caught quite a few nice crappies in 10′ of water. I caught and released a 10″ Bluegill on a jig and minnow. All our crappies were caught on small glow jigs with waxies. John’s 12″ crappie was the big fish of the day. I was outfished by my 9 year old brother, but he had my Vexilar!
