I see by the Outdoor News that Minn DNR is suggesting lowering the cormorant population on Pelican Island by 70-90 percent. Shooting with muffled .22’s and putting vegatable oil on the eggs are two of the means suggested. This has yet to be approved by the National Wildlife Services as they have already seen some lawsuits from animal rights groups.

I say, go get ’em boys.

What a joke…”bunch of tree huggin’, hippie crap”. That lake needs attention and with the slot size they are imposing and a recommendation to reduce comorants, it has a chance at a quick recovery. Leech is a gem that needs help not tired rhetoric from peta. How about 50 boats full of duck hunters with 10Ga’s, it’s dawn and they blaze away til their shoulders fall off!! Just another idea.

Have truck, boat and guns. Will travel-anyone want to ride shotgun?

Get rid of them and then had south and start working on those jumping carp

Boy, that would be fun to blast them worthless water-vultures. They are getting thick on pool #4 too.
