ICE OUT??

    I just spoke to sugar point resort and they claimed Lecch is iCE FREE Im confident it will be by Fri. but i question that it is right now after seeing pics of mille lacs the last two days. Anyone else have a update or able to confirm that Leech is wide open?

    Garrison Sports reported There is still a lot of ice on the lake. It seems to be way over half ice. They posted that one hour ago

    Thats about what I figured. I knew it couldn’t be ice free that fast I’m thinking Thur.

    looking at the walker bay web cam is a downer. Ice still looks white.

    Yes the webcam shows lots of ice in walker bay but less then yesterday and it started to move a bit this afternoon. I think a decent wind will take it off if we get it. Will be very close. I cant speak for the big lake. I don’t think they will put in ramp docks until its completely ice free.

    what a difference a day makes. It looks like the ice is pushed up to the north side. You would think if walker bay is open the main lake should be open. They should be calling ice out you would think today or tomorrow.

    goggle leech lake web cam tower. The cam moves back and forth showing all of walker bay.
