I got to the shack a little late Thursday (4pm) and I had turned the heat down too low and had to open my holes. Was fishing by 4:20 and as soon as I dropped the ducer down, there were fish present. Didn’t know what to expect with the wind and weather change but it was pretty good. Sorted thru a dozen eyes to get my 4 keeps and was surprised with a 26 1/2. Fished Friday night and iced very few eyes compared to Thursday. The fish where there just wouldn’t commit to getting the hook in their mouth. Didn’t fish tonight (Sat)but even with the cold settled in the fishing should be better thru the snap.

I was in the bay this evening towards the north end in about 40 FOW and only took one eye. I was marking plenty on the flasher but was missing something. I sorted through nearly all my jigs and spoons.. Don’t know what I’m missing.

This cold snap has slowed the bite, I was out last two nights and the fish are there just not aggressive. Getting bites but weak non commit type bites. Tomorrow you will see this change.

I sure hope so! I may try to find the perch in the afternoon before looking for a spot to set up for the evening bite so hopefully it all works out!
