    Keep throwing lures ’till they bounce! Looks like there may be a few decent days left for open water angling. Tullibees appear to be spawning. Water temps 40-44.

    Tullibee patterned crankbaits. I tried some big rubber baits with no luck.

    nice, wish I could get up there. Were the bass and walleye lost or just confused about who they are?

    I think a lot of people would be amazed how many nice bass and walleyes you can catch throwing the big baits. Shhhhh

    You got it goin on down there! Good job. Don’t be afraid to go BIG and bold with the baits. Sometimes the “whitefish” look is the ticket and other days it is a stark contrast they prefer! Stay at it until it freezes…in fact I may come down for some Walker Bay action next week. If I can get the boat in it could be huge Musky time.
