Fishing Leech end of sept

    I’m headed up to leech at the end of the month with a bunch of buddies and we are having a little turny between all of us. I normally fish Mille Lacs but have been lacking the water time this year, so I do have a clue on how to fish these types of waters. I’m sure with a little time I’ll dial in, although I was hoping to shorten my learning curve a little.
    Any help would be great.

    I would soak big suckers under a float.

    IF YOUR GOING FOR EYES MOPPED UP WITH RING WORMS LAST TIME i FISHED IT A FEW YRS BACK. JUST FISHED EM LIKE A CRANK BAIT AND THEY HAMMERED THEM WE FISHED WIND BLOWN POINTS
