My family and I will be heading up to Leech lake on Sunday for a week. This will be our first time to the lake so any recommendations for fun things to see or do, fishing tips (panfish/walleye), or restaurants would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

walker bay would be your best bet for larger eyes. send yodie a p.m he would be the best person to ask. as for restaurants try the logging camp just out side park rapids. good food at a good price. there’s a lot of good family things to do in the walker area. good luck on your trip
Boat into the public marina in Walker and go to Sportsmans for breakfast or have a pizza at Bensons or we like to split the famous Leech burger as a family 
Or you could always give up some savings at Reeds
You can’t go wrong fishing off goose island, stony point or pine point.
It’s a big lake and depending on where you are staying you may never be able even make it to any of these spots.
