I hit Shingobee bay for a few hours this afternoon to try some panfish action. No Crappies, the Perch were all pretty small @ 6″-9″ but I did manage to find some nice Bluegills. The biggest two touched the 10″ mark. Most of the bay was 42-44 degrees but I saw 50 up in the frog water. That breeze was chilly. Most of Steamboat bay is open now and I think Kabekona bay will go out tomorrow.

    Cheers and hooksets!

Sweet! Great to hear you got out, and found some success in the bays. Those are pig gills!

    Throwing jigs/plastics? Dunking bait?

A 1/16 oz jig and crappie minnow. Truth to be known I was looking for Perch.

Way to take advantage of what or in this case which fish wanted to bite!!! Too many fish futilely for a certain species and don’t take advantage of the fish that bite.
