12/19 Quick Report

    I got out again this afternoon for a few hours and found more eaters. They were hammering gold spoons but I don’t think this area had been fished since October. About a dozen fish in all, I kept 4. All fish were between 13″ and 21″. There was a solid ten inches of ice everywhere I drilled. I’m ready to try for some bigger fish now.

    I spent all day on the ice for a few 6 inch crappies.. man i wish i lived up north! Looks like a great time to me!

    Nice limit! From your report and others, sounds like the walleyes are hungry on Leech right now! Good fishing.

    How much of Leech is fishable right now??

    Last I knew pretty much all the lake was open to everyone…which is NOT the case up at Red.
