I was up on Birch Lake this past weekend and got into some crappies. Minnows seem to be the best for action. 8″ of ice everywhere I drilled. But as always check for your own safety. There were lots of wheel houses headed up on Sunday when I was coming home. There is a decent amount of snow for the guys wanting to run the sleds.

Here is a first person video of some of the action over the weekend.

    Good work!

One thing I notice and like is the rod holder attachment for the flasher. Wonder if Marcum will soon follow…..

Next time keep the camera more on the flasher. Some people get bored at work and need to watch something cool video

I know it is tough to watch when looking back and forth from hole to hole. The one big down side of first person videos. I hate it myself As we grow older it is going to be nice to recall the trips and all the good times fishing. Some day I will hire a camera crew, but until then I will do my best with the Kodak. Thanks for the feedback though I always appreciate it. Hopefully more to come this winter! Sounds like the ice is here to stay now. State wide!
