Hit leech lake last night with Toby Kvalevog co owner of
    http://www.leisureoutdooradventures.com

Toby met me in walker bay to move my wheel house to a new spot. Crossed one ridge safely and headed accross walker bay.

Travel was good and the ice was 13″ we used a wheeler with chain’s and it had snowed with about 4″.

Travel was great on the wheeler with my GPS Cord for the new spot we hit a Big Ridge that had water along it.

Plan B didnt cross the ridge with my house set up on a hump at 32ft for the evening bite. We marked fish in the first hole set the house up and fished till about 530pm

Had fish on the Vex till 530 then it slowed down. Had lots of action many small fish one that went 19″ and lots of whitefish that moved in with the walleyes.

Moving again tommorrow around the ridge to get to my first spot. Rosey red minnows worked great if you can find them with a Lindy Slick jig and small jigs and spoons.

No truck traffic on Walker Bay a snowmobile or wheeler will both work.

Sweet ride Bob. Will you be going out of Walker or Kab. access? I want to try sand pt area but it’s a long walk with no wheeler.

Going out of Ericksons Landing last night I measured a good 14″ of solid ice up in the Sand Pt area which should be plenty of ice for a vehicle. No ridges either

Thanks Bob! I’ve got friends coming up this weekend and realy want to get a permie out there. I think I’ll take my little Jeep out there though and keep my 3/4 ton off for a while yet.
