Hit leech lake last night on the south side on a 17ft hump 8″ of ice. Nice bunch of fish released from 20″ to 25″ last night also some nice eaters fish 15″ up to 17 7/8.

Had to jump a ridge tho with water on it. We stopped to look first so just be careful. Not a big fan of doing that.

The 25″ caught on Red Glow Lindy Frostee spoon. Tip ups deadstick plain hook and spoons all caught fish. Plain hook and a minnow seemed to work the best. Left the camera on shore the other guys have some pics. Sorry didnt want to drop it in the water.

    Hey Bob –

Our group is coming up Thursday night and fishing Friday and Saturday. Are you finding a consistent 8″ of ice throughout the entire lake? We are planning on bringing the wheelers, but thought I’d ask…ya never know what this warm weather is doing to the lake.

Roger depends what area of the lake no fishing in Walker bay. Ive seen 8″ off Pine point and 8″ over by Whipholt Last night, but lots of pressure ridges.

Also leech is like ten different lakes each area is not as safe as other parts. You need to check everything to be safe. Please.
