Taking the family to Leech this weekend, staying just East of Walker. What are some good places to stop for live bait? Also looking for gas stations that have no-ethynol fuel? Any other tips for the weekend, is there a bobber bite going on? Depths, time of day or anything else to look for? We’ve never been to Leech and decided to give it a try this year. Thanks for the help.

Stop by Shriver’s Bait in Walker and pick their brain a litte, they are more then willing to share what’s working.

I’ve been getting a few pulling spinner/crawlers and Crankbaits near mid-lake breaks and humps but most boats I see are fishing the 6′-12′ flats as usual. Good Luck!

X2 on Shriver’s Bait – Jack is a great guy and will point you in the right direction – If you evey thought of hiring a Muskie Guide Jack is the one to Hire – He has been catching Muskie’s on leech and the other lakes in the area since he was about 8 years old. Not only is he a great fisherman but also a great guy to spend a day on the water with!!!!
